- Samira Tawfik Matanis (Kinaan) from Abu - Snan, born in Basa village in the west Galilee, married + four children.
- Samira is graduate of art department – Oranim College.
- A graduate of Bet - Berl College in Kfar Saba in directing gradeschool units in local councils.
- Between the years 1991-2001, she worked as a coordinator of preschool projects in the community center of the village.
- For 12 years she organized exhibitions and creative workshops in the community center for children between the ages 6-18.
-Samira has taught courses of arts in the community center to kindergarden teachers in Abu Snan for ten years.
- Won a prize in recognition of her efforts as an art director of the summer camps in Abu Snan community center.
- An art teacher in school Abu Snan.
- A member of Ebdaa’ the association for Arab artists.
- A member of the association of Israeli Artists- Shagal in Haifa.
