Ligia Matani
She
was born in South America in
the country of Ecuador.
In 1983 she was married to
her Arabian-Israeli Husband,
in Ecuador. And she moved to
live in Israel in Qalansawa
city, in the year 1986. Since
childhood Ligia had a great,
strong, extraordinary and
unique tendency towards art.
It began with her
participation in a painting
course guided by a famous
artisan from Quito the
capital of Ecuador.
Nowadays Ligia is a devoted
mother to five wonderful
children nevertheless she
does not give up expressing
her great creative talent in
art; and it is shown through
the courses which she conveys
to children in different
community centers in
Qalansawa city and to girls
in the amenity service in the
city.
Her achievements in the field
of art which are expressed in
both, her creative works and
the maximum satisfaction of
her scholars from her
professional guide brought
her to a stand where she is
active as a guide for art in
community centers in
different places (Kfar-Bra,
Zemer, Jaljulia etc.).
It is obvious that Ligia is
an active and energetic
woman, loving to her husband,
devoted to her children and a
great artist.
In the year of 1997 she
joined an association called
“Ibdaa” that works in order
to promote art in Arabic
section in Israel.
Education:

The twelve years of
her education since
elementary till high-school
she fulfilled at a private
nuns school. And she won the
art prize of the school
several times.

academic studies were
fulfilled in inoccial collage
at Quito, in the faculty of
interior design.

seminar in art (sketch and
colour) in the civilian
collage Menashe.

plastic art.
